two icons.
ONE STAGE.
A WHOLE NEW STORY.
Austen Brontë is a brand-new musical that rips up the rulebook and puts the women behind the classics centre stage.
It’s bold. It’s pretty. It’s witty.
And it’s their story - told their way.

the Lore
Jane Austen. Charlotte Brontë.
Two brilliant writers.
Two very different worlds.
Both told they should know their place.
Both chose to write their own story anyway.
Austen Brontë is a fictional, feel-good, fiercely feminist new musical that imagines a chance encounter between Jane and the Brontë sisters - and asks what might happen when two literary worlds collide.
A friendship.
A collaboration.
A revolution.
Different worlds. Same fight.
Their story. Their way.
